We look forward to seeing you at our Christmas Fayre on 23rd November, 7.00-9.30pm, where there'll be some new stall holders for you to enjoy along with your trusted favourites. As usual, the TCP stall will be displaying craft/textiles lovingly produced by the clients, and the plant/flower stall will also be in attendance, which proved a great hit last year. Any bottle or chocolate donations will be gratefully received by Friday 18th November.

Wisley Community Allotment
|
Thank you to the staff of Wisley Community Allotment for providing such a wonderful and informative day out on the 19th of October. Many thanks also to the Chalk family for supplying ice cream money on the day, which was really appreciated.

Textiles and Sewing

Textiles group have been enjoying the sewing machines, making everything from door stops to snow man hats.

Tennis
|
Everyone is back enjoying tennis which is being held in the indoor tennis courts on the grounds of St George's College.

Junior Citizen Programme
Every November, Thorpe Park Resort sees 950 Runnymede pupils through its doors to take part in the Junior Citizen programme.
|
|
The workshop, which has been running for over 20 years, brings individuals face-to-face with real-life, potentially dangerous scenarios that teach them how to act in emergency situations and how to avoid them happening in the first place.
|
The aim is to create safer communities by educating the younger generation on first aid, making a 999 call, stranger danger, anti-social behaviour and water, rail, electrical and internet safety.
|
The programme is run in a safe environment under the supervision of experts and professionals. The scheme is run in partnership between Runnymede Borough Council and Surrey Police. The event is supported by Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), British Transport Police, St John Ambulance, Network Rail, Tesco and Brooklands College.

The TCP clients will be attending this event on the 16th of November and a cold packed lunch will be needed on the day.
|

- If anyone who doesn't attend on Tuesdays would like to join the group for lunch, please can you text the TCP family phone to confirm their attendance by November 11th.

- Wednesday 21st December - Christmas Buffet lunch @ TCP
- Thursday 22nd - Christmas movie morning at TCP with early closure at 12pm.
