Dear Parents, Carers and TCP family
I hope you're all well and are managing to enjoy the few rays of Spring sunshine that have we have had recently.

Mayor's Visit
Thank you to everyone who has replied to the invite to the Mayor's visit on the 26th May. Due to the unpredictability of the weather, and as we are held to a tight schedule, we have decided that instead of a BBQ, an afternoon tea will be served instead.
If you are unable to make the afternoon but would like your son or daughter to stay for the tea and to receive their certificate from the Mayor, can you please email me to confirm this. If I don't hear from you, we will presume that they will be leaving at normal time 3.45pm.
We predict that the event will end approximately at 5.30pm, so please ensure that taxis are informed of the later pick up time.

Our upcycling products are underway and we will have items for sale on the 26th May.

If you are unable to attend the event, there will be a table-top sale at TCP week commencing the 29th May.
Coronation Celebrations
Next Friday we will be enjoying a Coronation Party with a buffet lunch, games and face painting. Everyone is welcome to dress up or just to wear something red, white or blue.
Check out some Coronation recipes including the Coronation Quiche.
You can also try out the Coronation King Charles III Wordsearch.
Plans
Please don't forget we have 3 bank holidays in May with the first one this coming Monday, the 1st May. The other dates are the 8th and the 29th. Please note, the project is closed on every UK bank holiday.

Some clients will be visiting Maclaren on Friday 12th May and some others will enjoy a boat trip on 19th May. More details will be given nearer the time once they have made their choices.

Welcome Sarah!
A big welcome to our new part time staff member, Sarah who will be working on Wednesday and Friday.
Fundraising
We hope you can join us for Choice of Scandanvia, 10% of all takings will go to us.
Wishing you all a fabulous Coronation weekend and hopefully the rain will hold off if you're enjoying street parties or just getting together with friends and family.
best wishes
Lisa Littlewood
