Dear Parents, Carers and TCP family
I hope you are all well and you managed to stay cool in the recent heatwave. I need to pass on my thanks to all our parents/carers who ensure that their son/daughter arrives with a hat and sunscreen applied. This has been most helpful in the recent temperatures and the staff are extremely grateful.

Covid Update - I want to keep you abreast of our procedures and policies which still remain in place, even though the use of mask wearing was withdrawn back in April. After consideration, and exploring local and national data, the decision for all staff to carry on wearing face masks was taken to protect all attendees of the Project. The clients (where able), have been extremely diligent since our return in September 2020 and have continued to wear them as part of their daily routine - even though we are aware it isn't mandatory for them.

Our staff are still conducting 2 LFD tests per week, taking them before they begin work and then spaced 3 to 4 days apart. Thank you to all our parents/carers who have kept their son/daughter off with a positive test - this has definitely helped to keep our cases to a minimum.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of our Covid procedures please speak to me at the Project or call the Office.
Stay safe and well
Lisa Littlewood

The government is planning some new information and rules to help make life better for people with Down’s syndrome in England. The new information and rules is called guidance. You can send your ideas and feedback for the new guidance before November 8, it is quite a long questionnaire but make sure you start on Page 14 (Over 18) as it wasn't clear that the questionnaire is split in to under and over 18.
